The Great Cloud of Witnesses
My friends, the state of the
world and the church, straight across the board is in shambles. I know that
many of you don’t want to hear this but it is in fact true. The same problems
affect and infect both the state and the church; pedophilia, homosexuality,
greed, lust for material objects, indifference to Jesus Christ and His
teachings, no belief in Almighty God, the Creator of all that is seen and
unseen. This is a spiritual warfare. We are filming our latest video on this
subject; Spiritual Warfare, this is
video number three, titled; The Great Cloud of witnesses. Sadly we are not even
close to the worst of it yet.
What the world sees as
freedom is in truth slavery, the world is a slave to all of its evil desires.
We’ve all been there, none of us are innocent. No one is holier than thou. We
have sinned, there is nothing to do except turn to God through Jesus the Christ
and repent, on your knees confess before Almighty God and turn to Him, the only
hope and help for salvation. It is the spirit of evil behind everything that is
the cause of all things evil. Not that the spirit has any power at all to
command but only the power to deceive, to influence us through our own greed
and desire. That is the control. Whatever is gained here is temporary, it will
not last, the idea that one has that one will live like a king here with
complete power and control and have a great life before one dies and then that
is the end is only being deceived.
Once we leave this body it is
only a new beginning. We will answer for
everything that we have ever said, done, and not done that we should have done.
Don’t believe it now if that is what you choose but you in fact will remember
these words in that day and you will have no excuse, there will be no defense
because you were told and did not heed.
We are surrounded by a great
cloud of witnesses as has been stated before. Yet we choose to not ask for
help. One day, quite a number of years ago I was headed to work, I was at the
time still employed in the construction industry. I was working in the downtown
area of Washington D.C. I parked my truck in a parking lot and was headed to
the subway station because there was no parking onsite. As I left the lot where
I parked and headed across the street a man standing down on a corner began to
cross and head towards me. As I picked up my pace he picked up his pace and we
were on course to collide as I reached the opposite side of the street.
I looked around and saw that
we were the only two in the area so since I did not see that he had help I
decided that he must be armed. I was carrying a large cooler where I stored
food and drink for the day at work. As he was approaching from my right side I
moved the cooler which was pretty heavy to my right hand as a barrier and
weapon. Suddenly down the road there appeared another man, a very, very tall
man. I immediately thought; great now there are two but the new one was so far
away I determined that I may be able to dispense with my first attacker with
plenty of time to prepare for the second very tall one if indeed he turned out
to be an attacker as well.
At about six paces from one
another my first attacker reached into his upper breast pocket inside of his
jacket and began pulling his hand out. I immediately lunged at him driving my
cooler into his chest, blocking his hand and throwing him off balance.
Immediately I was shoving my left claw hand to his eyes, it was him or me, I
was determined it not to be me. When suddenly, this very tall man was there,
leaning down on my left side at my claw hand and glaring at my attacker with
his head between us. He shot a glance at me and asked; excuse me sir, do you
have the time? Then he immediately returned his glare back to my attacker eye to
eye.
Wow, Adrenalin was pumping
through me but I stepped back three paces and lifted my forearm to my eyes so
that I could see the two of them as well as my watch, I gave him the time, 5:15
in the morning. I could see my attacker physically shriveling up before my
eyes. He turned and took off back to where he had come from. The very tall man
stood straight up and began walking past me, he thanked me for the time and I
said; you’re welcome, thank you for what you just did. I shot a quick glance
back to my attacker to see if he had left completely and turned back but the
very tall man was gone.
Just like that he disappeared
silently and without a word, away. I did truly not understand what had just
taken place other than the facts of what I just stated. I didn’t even know if I
should believe or not believe what had just happened. So, again my friends, we are surrounded by a
great cloud of witnesses. We all have a guardian angel as well and we can
ignore him or understand that he is there and that we should not do things that
will grieve the Holy Spirit or the one that is meant to guard and guide us.
Almighty God will provide for us as He sees fit to do so.
I did not verbally ask for
help at that moment from God using my tongue but in the back of my mind I have
an almost constant dialogue going on with Him. I am usually asking for
forgiveness for something or strength and faith at that moment, or patience for
some circumstance or singing a praise or a psalm. Asking for help is immediate
in the mind if one stays on track with God and keeps the world out of one’s
head.
When we are at Eucharist or
Communion which is also called Holy Communion, we are standing in the company
of the heavenly realm, the great cloud of witnesses, the saints and angels are
there worshiping and praising with us. In the church there is no alive or
dead. There are those who have left the body and worship in the spirit with us
who are still in the body. There are also those fallen ones who choose to
attempt to disrupt us in our worship and in our daily life. Whether you like it
or not they are there. There are non believers, those who say that there is no
God or spirit but yet believe in aliens. They believe these aliens exist but
choose not to believe that they are created beings who have left their place
where they were created.
Friends, this world is not
new. What was old is here again. What is new is from old only re-packaged.
Science is all abuzz over gene splicing and creating a new humanity and they
gloat among themselves for their higher intellect in getting rid of the
superstition of a god. They convince themselves that they are achieving the
power of a god through their genetic and technological engineering. Well, Genetic
manipulation is not new my friends. It has been here before, if we are so
brilliant why are there things in the material world that were constructed
many, many centuries ago that we cannot construct now nor understand how they
were built. Time moves on for us in the physical body and erases many things.
This earth has been flooded. But even before that there was a great calamity
and mass destruction. There was a spiritual war and a great division in the
heavens.
Those who have fallen
continue to fall. Those of mankind who listen to the promises of the fallen ones
because of our own lust in the flesh are merely repeating what once has already
happened. Many people are concerned with opening doors into new dimensions
through technology but my friends, these doors already exist. The spiritual
world, the spiritual battle is ongoing only now mankind is involved in the
flesh. This is our battle ground. This is where we choose sides. This is where
we determine who we hear and follow and how we spend eternity.
Do not throw your life away
for some fulfillment that is here today and gone tomorrow. Live for that
eternal life of fulfillment. The fulfilling of that life will far exceed what
we can only imagine while in the flesh. The lusts and desires of the flesh are
nothing in comparison to life in the spirit. Stand strong in the Lord, obey the
commandments and live to God. This is the true way. I will give this to you
from the Lord, when the time comes and the earth is once again overwhelmed with
the diseased in the spirit, when those who deny God and live after their own
lusts and persecute those who follow the Christ are in complete temporary control of the world, the
believers will suddenly learn to cling to one another.
Those who confess the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Ghost; those who declare like Peter; “You are the Christ,
the Son of the living God.” Those who believe in the Real Presence in the
Eucharist or Bread and Wine as our Lord spoke these words; “Truly, truly, I
tell you, unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Man, you
have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal
life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is real food, and
My blood is real drink.…
Those baptized into the Holy
Trinity who follow the commandments especially these commandments as Jesus
replied, “This is the most important: ‘Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One
Lord, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is
this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than
these.”…
These that I have mentioned will seek one
another out and find strength and solace with one another and renew one
another’s faith. It is sad that it will take the end times for this to happen.
It doesn’t have to but even now there will be those who read or hear these
words and mock because they are part of the elite church that is the only true
one, regardless of the faith of those who follow what is written and spoken
here, far too many will not heed the Lord.
It is up to you. Call on the
Lord with faith, ask the witnesses who surround us for help and see for
yourself. Do not think that if trials come when we seek that we are on the
wrong path; the trials are meant to test and strengthen our faith. This is the
only way. This is how we learn, how we overcome. Expect them, praise God in
them, struggle through them asking for the help that is needed and then you
will see.
Be blessed, in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
We must live our faith in
spite of those who make the statement that they do not need God in their life
to do good. We who believe still need our Savior because we sin everyday
whether in thought, word or deed. There is no amount of good that we can do
that will erase our sin once we have committed it. There is only our faith in Christ
Jesus, our recognition of our sin, our confession, and repentance. This is our
faith.
God can do all things; there
is no situation that we get ourselves into that God cannot help us out of.
Don’t think though that if there is some earthly penalty that we must pay that
we will escape this because we suddenly come to God for help. We simply must
have the faith and believe. Keep in mind however; God's plan is far above ours.
We suffer and we have plenty coming based on what God Himself has in store for
us whether it is for purging, for testing, or for reward or necessity for our
life. God is in control.
We do not know when this will
end and the new beginning will be, in spite of the many modern prophets who
make a living selling Jesus and the destruction of the world; we have no clue
when it will be. In the meantime, it rains on us all, haters and lovers of
Jesus.
The sun shines on us all, haters and lovers of Jesus. We remain together
in this world until that day. So take a lesson from the readings. Continue to
praise and worship Jesus the Christ and the Father through Him. Never cease to
pray and live according to the gospel. Allow the Holy Ghost to guide you. Love
God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, with all of your mind, and
with all of your strength; love your neighbor as yourself. You never know whose
life you will change because of this love of God in you.
The light has entered the
world and the times; they are a-changing.
If one does not have love for
the soul of mankind and the desire that all come to the truth than one does not
have Christ in them fully.
Little children, love one
another; because this is our Lord’s command and if you fulfill this, nothing
else is needed. Through love and because of love we will follow all of the
commandments that we have been given. They are written on our hearts by the
hand of Almighty God. We simply need to see them within us and follow.
Remember; if we confess our
sins and repent, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse
us from all iniquity.
May the peace of our Lord
Jesus the Christ be with you throughout this day and the rest of your life. May
the Holy Spirit fill us all to overflowing so that everyone in whose path we
cross may receive a blessing from our Lord Jesus the Christ.
