The Blessed Virgin
This is a transcript of the video SW4 The Blessed
Virgin chapter 1
My friends,
Bishop William of St.
Michael’s Monastery, member of the Autocephalous Orthodox Catholic Churches of
the Americas here, St. Michael’s is the home of the New Warrior Ministries.
This is an outreach ministry
seeking to bring all who have left the church back to Christ, back to Jesus,
for whatever reason that you have left the church, God’s love will still be
never ending. For all who are seeking the truth and do not yet know that Jesus
is the truth, this is for you as well because Jesus is the truth.
This series is about
spiritual warfare. We are currently filming video number 4 which is titled; SW4
The Blessed Virgin.
There is a
link to the video at the bottom of this blog. Also, this particular video,
The Blessed Virgin is going to take up either two or three parts. We’ll see how
it goes according to the length of each video and how much talking that I do
rather than sticking strictly to the facts.
Before I begin with that I am
urged to speak on what is happening to the Roman Catholic Church today. My last
blog was regarding this subject. Just to be quick, many are wagging their
fingers and shaking their heads at Rome for this outrage. There are many who
claim that Catholic is not Christian. There is so much for you to learn.
Whatever is going on in Rome is going on throughout the whole entire secular
world and not just the world but throughout the majority of Christianity. Those
others just haven’t been busted yet.
Rome is being chastised by Almighty God.
Take a look at the Letter of
1 Peter Chapter 4 verses 16 -18; 1 Peter 4:16 But if you suffer as a Christian,
do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear that name. 17 For it is time
for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what
will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God? 18 And, “If it is
hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the
sinner?”
Also lets look at the Letter
to the Hebrews chapter 12 verses 5-8; Hebrews 12: 5 And you have forgotten the
exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the
Lord’s discipline, or lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines
the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure
suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not
disciplined by his father? 8 If you do not experience discipline like everyone
else, then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.
Friends, Rome is being
chastised, now it is through pride, prejudice, and hatred from others they are
called non Christian and yet God chastises them as sons. Everyone needs to get
rid of all the pride, prejudice, hatred, and arrogance. Rome is the biggest, and
the most public Christian people on the planet and it gets the most bang for
the buck so to speak when it comes to chastisement in terms of publicity.
Smaller groups would not make as big of a splash and ripple effect. If God is
chastising Rome then Rome is a child of God. Step down off of the podium and
correctly discern the times. Rome is not being annihilated by God but
chastised. Look to yourself in these times and take heed, think about it.
Now let’s get to the Blessed
Virgin; Mary.
Spiritual warfare, that’s
what we’re talking about here. This warfare started a long time ago and is
prophesied to end at a future time. Let’s take a quick look at this spiritual
warfare and end times prophesy that takes place at Almighty God’s chosen time.
Man, in the beginning was created and placed into a garden paradise, newly
formed and somewhat naïve but intelligent enough for Adam to have named all of
the animals which will be a matter for another series.
Apocalypse/Revelation 12: 7 And there was a
great battle in heaven, Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the
dragon fought and his angels: 8 And they
prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And that great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, who
is called the devil and Satan, who seduces the whole world; and he was cast
unto the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
That
great dragon who is called the devil and Satan reigns on earth. We see his
continual influence everywhere, take a look in the book of Genesis, Genesis 3: 1 Now the serpent was
more subtle than any of the beasts of the earth which the Lord God made. And he
said to the woman: Why has God commanded you that you should not eat of every
tree of paradise? 2 And the
woman answered him, saying: Of the fruit of the trees that are in paradise we
do eat: 3 But of the fruit
of the tree which is in the midst of paradise, God has commanded us that we
should not eat; and that we should not touch it, lest perhaps we die. 4 And the serpent said to the
woman: No, you shall not die the death. 5 For
God does know that in what day soever you shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be
opened: and you shall be as Gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And the woman saw that the tree
was good to eat, and fair to the eyes, and delightful to behold: and she took
of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave to her husband who did eat.
We
can see that from the beginning that Satan’s plan works through lies and
deception. He has no real power to force someone to believe him. He appeals to
each of us through our own personal lusts and desires; he tells us what we
deserve because we are alive on earth and deserve lots of pleasures and stuff.
Man listens because man loves comforts and pleasures and lots of stuff.
In
Genesis 3: 9 And the Lord
God called Adam, and said to him: Where are you? 10 And he said: I heard your voice in paradise; and I was
afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself. 11 And he said to him: And who has told you that you were
naked, but that you have eaten of the tree whereof I commanded you that you
should not eat? 12 And Adam
said: The woman, whom you gave me to be my companion, gave me of the tree, and
I did eat. 13 And the Lord
God said to the woman: Why have you done this? And she answered: The serpent
deceived me, and I did eat.
So
we see right from the beginning man refuses to recognize his own sin but will
point the finger immediately at another. Adam blamed Eve for his part in the
eating of the fruit but Eve did not beat Adam into the ground and force him to
eat. Eve of course blamed the serpent who again; did not beat her into the
ground and force her to eat.
Verse
14: And the Lord God said
to the serpent: Because you have done this thing, you are cursed among all
cattle, and the beasts of the earth: upon your breast shall you go, and earth
shall you eat all the days of your life.
So who in the world caused
this deception and how could he deceive anyone? Let’s look at the prophet
Ezekiel chapter 28:
11 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: Son
of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre: 12 And say to him: Thus says the Lord God: you were the seal
of resemblance, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in the pleasures of the paradise of God: every
precious stone was your covering: the sardius, the topaz, and the jasper, the
chrysolite, and the onyx, and the beryl, the sapphire, and the carbuncle, and
the emerald: gold the work of your beauty: and your pendants and jewels were
prepared in the day that you were created. 14 You a cherub stretched out, and protecting, and I set you
in the holy mountain of God, you have walked in the midst of the stones of
fire.
15 You were perfect
in your ways from the day of your creation, until iniquity was found in you. 16 By the multitude of your
merchandise, your inner parts were filled with iniquity, and you have sinned:
and I cast you out from the mountain of God, and destroyed you, O covering
cherub, out of the midst of the stones of fire. 17 And your heart was lifted up with your beauty: you have
lost your wisdom in your beauty, I have cast you to the ground: I have set you
before the face of kings, that they might behold you. 18 You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your
iniquities, and by the iniquity of your traffic: therefore I will bring forth a
fire from the midst of you, to devour you, and I will make you as ashes upon
the earth in the sight of all that see you. 19 All that shall see you among the nations, shall be
astonished at you: you are brought to nothing, and you shall never be any more.
This prophecy is clearly not
speaking of a mere human being of the male sex. There are many stories and
theory’s on the Satan and the devil that are too extensive to get into in this
series. We will call Satan and the serpent by the names that we have come to
know them by through our New Testament. Take a look now at the second letter to
the Corinthians.
II Corinthians chapter 11: 13 For such false apostles are deceitful workmen,
transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder: for Satan himself transforms himself into
an angel of light. 15 Therefore
it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of
justice, whose end shall be according to their works.
In Luke chapter 10 verse 18
Jesus said: I saw Satan like lightening falling from heaven.
Deception, Satan; transformed
into an angel of light, the battle in spirit is ongoing, subtle, mysterious and
dangerous. What happens next in the saga of the Garden of Eden and man’s fall?
In Genesis 3: 15 Almighty God says; I will put enmities between you
and the woman, and your seed and her seed: she shall crush your head, and you
shall lie in wait for her heel.
In the prophet Isaiah 7: 13 And he said: Hear you therefore, O house of
David: Is it a small thing for you to be grievous to men, that you are grievous
to my God also? 14 Therefore
the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive, and
bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel.
In the Gospel of Luke 1: 26 And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was
sent from God into a city of Galilee, called Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of
the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28 And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of
grace, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women. 29 Who having heard, was troubled
at his saying, and thought with herself what manner of salutation this should
be. 30 And the angel said
to her: Fear not, Mary, for you have found grace with God. 31 Behold you shall conceive in your
womb, and shall bring forth a son; and you shall call his name Jesus.
So tell me, all who show
total disrespect to the Blessed Virgin, all who say; ‘her sins are scarlet and as dirty as a filthy rag’, she is no
different or better than any other woman. I will not give her any more respect
than is due any other woman. I have heard it said from the pulpits many
times. So tell me, all of you deniers throughout the world; what are the
commandments? Is not one of them to; honor
your father and your mother so that you may be long lived on the land that the
Lord your God shall give you. Tell me, is this a commandment or not?
What did Jesus say; did He
say, Do not think that I have come to
destroy the law and the prophets, I am not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Did Jesus come and fulfill the law? What was the first miracle performed by
Jesus that is recorded in the Bible? Was it not turning water into wine? Was
this not at the request of His mother that He did this, in spite of His initial
reaction to her request. So many non believers get caught up in the fact that
He responded with the words; woman, what
is this to do with you and me. Non believers also like to use the scripture
in the twelfth chapter of St. Matthew when His mother and brothers came seeking
Him and He said; 48 Who is my mother, and who are my brethren? 49 And stretching forth his hand
towards his disciples, he said: Behold my mother and my brethren.
You teach that because he
spoke these words that He showed no respect, you are deceivers in your own
right. He was teaching the sinners with whom He sat a spiritual understanding.
There was never a lack of respect from the Savior of mankind toward the woman
who gave Him birth. To say that there was is to call Jesus a liar since He is
also the lawgiver and the fulfillment of the Law, how could he deny the law by
disrespecting His mother?
If we are to honor our own
mother and father, should we not also honor the mother of the one that we call
Lord? The Savior of mankind? The Son of God in the flesh? The word of God who
is God? Think carefully.
End of Chapter 1
Be
blessed and be a blessing, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of
the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Continue to praise and
worship Jesus the Christ and the Father through Him. Never cease to pray and
live according to the gospel. Allow the Holy Ghost to guide you. Love God with
all of your heart, with all of your soul, with all of your mind, and with all
of your strength; love your neighbor as yourself. You never know whose life you
will change because of this love of God in you.
The light has entered the
world and the times; are changing. If one does not have love for the soul
of mankind and the desire that all come to the truth than one does not have
Christ in them fully.
Little children, love one
another; because this is our Lord’s command and if you fulfill this, nothing
else is needed. Through love and because of love we will follow all of the
commandments that we have been given. They are written on our hearts by the
hand of Almighty God. We simply need to see them within us and follow.
Remember; if we confess our
sins and repent, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all iniquity.
May the peace of our Lord
Jesus the Christ be with you throughout this day and the rest of your life. May
the Holy Spirit fill us all to overflowing so that everyone in whose path we
cross may receive a blessing from our Lord Jesus the Christ.
In Christ.
