Today we celebrate in the western rite, the dedication of our Lord in the Temple. Bishop's blessing: May Almighty God Who was willing that on this day, His Only-Begotten Son be presented in the temple in the flesh He assumed; may He make you, who are supported by His blessing to be adorned with good works. Amen. And may He Who was willing to undergo the ministrations so that the law might be fulfilled, open your minds to His law through spiritual documents. Amen. May He for Whom spotless turtle doves were offered, strengthen you by His Charity, and may you rejoice for the progeny of the doves: of spiritual gifts. Amen. May He Whose Kingdom and Dominion remain without end, be pleased to sustain us unto ages of ages. Amen. May the blessing of God: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and the peace of the Lord be ever with you. Amen. +William

Subject: Bishop's blessing
Bishop's blessing; May Almighty
God Whose Only-begotten Son did not dissolve the law, but rather came to
fulfill it, receiving circumcision in the flesh; by spiritual circumcision
purge your mind from all of the attractions of sins, and pour forth into you

that you may you live in this age and the seventh [day of creation] in number

Merry Christmas! Collect before the Epistle!
MERRY CHRISTMAS. Collect before the Epistle: The only hope restores our Life and Faith, O Eternal God the Father, Who is pleased to save us through Your Only-Begotten Son, Who was united to this world by the assumption of the nature of the flesh, that He Who was God from God the Father, might also be man from the mother: from You without time; from her without seed: look upon us and answer our petitions and grant that we, who praise with joy the humble advent of Your Son, may be worthy to joyfully behold His coming in glory. Through the same our Lord Jesus Christ, Who reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, throughout all ages of ages. Amen. +William

Christmas Eve Western Rite Preface/Introductory Collect
Christmas Eve, Preface or Introductory Collect Western Rite: Merciful and most sweet God, by Whose will and by Whose gift, our Lord Jesus Christ humiliated Himself: so that the whole species of humanity might be exalted; and therefore unto the lower-most parts He descended to raise up humility. To this end, for that purpose, God was born man through the Virgin, so that He might reform the ruined heavenly Image in man. Allow these people to adhere to You, so that they whom You have redeemed by Your gifts, may be pleased to remain ever in dedicated service to You. Amen.
+William
